North Beach Progressive Animal Welfare Society (N.B. PAWS) Our Mission and Goals We promote the spaying and neutering of dogs and cats in order to assist in reducing the astronomical over population of these animals, which results in needless euthanasia. North Beach PAWS is dedicated to helping educate the community in order to create responsible pet guardianship. North Beach PAWS is committed to seeking legal protection and justice for animals that are the victims of cruelty and/or neglect. Our service area includes the North Beach community, starting outside the city gates of Ocean Shores, north on 109 through Ocean City, Copalis Beach, east to Copalis Crossing, and Humptulips, Pacific Beach and Moclips, as well as Highway 109 to east Hoquiam.

We are looking for sponsors to help build a large fenced off leash area on our property at 2222 Highway 109, (Hogan’s Corner just outside Ocean Shores) . This would be used for the dogs in our care to play with each other and interact with Shelter volunteers and perspective adoptive “parents”. It will provide FREEDOM from the kennels and allow much needed exercise. The anticipated cost of the project is about $8300. The cost per section (and sponsorship) is $100.00. Sponsor’s names will permanently appear at a sign in front of the shelter and all donations are tax deductible. Please volunteer to be a part of this exciting memorialized project by donating either in the Paypal link or by sending your check made out to “North Beach Paws” for the freedom fence to the address above. |
